The game is divided into 3 stages. At the first stage, players are dealt five cards and after that a round of betting begins. On the second, an exchange takes place – this is when a poker player can exchange one or several random cards from the deck at his discretion. Well, at the end there is an additional round of betting. The one with the best 5-card hand wins.
This discipline is average in popularity , while it is one of the most difficult. It also has its subspecies – 5-card and 7-card Stud Hi-Lo (the strongest / weakest hand wins, as in Omaha). The rules here are quite different from Hold’em. At the start of the game, everyone rallies the antes (mandatory nominal rate). After that, the dealer gives everyone 1 open and 2 closed cards. The poker player who has the weakest open card must make another bet.
Then they give out 1 more open card (called “fourth street”). The first player at this stage is the player with the highest open cards – he also has the right to skip a move. Then the dealer deals the fifth and sixth open cards. The last seventh card is dealt face down. At the end, the showdown process takes place. As in other types of poker, the best combination of 5 cards wins.
